Thomas K. Ascol has served as pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Cape Coral, Florida since 1986. Prior to this he served as pastor and associate pastor of churches in Texas. He is a graduate of Texas A & M University (sociology) and has earned an M.Div and PhD (theology) from Southwestern. He taught two years in an adjunct capacity for New Orleans Seminary in their SW Florida extension. He has been involved with Founders Ministries from its inception and currently serves as Executive Director and editor of the Founders Journal. Through these efforts he and other Southern Baptists are seeking to promote spiritual and theological reformation among local churches.

Tom has written numerous articles and contributed to several books. He regularly preaches and lectures at various conferences throughout the United States and other countries. He and his wife, Donna, live in Cape Coral with their six children.
