Clarkson Community Church is rich in history. Organized in 1816 as the "First Presbyterian Congregational Church of Murray," it is one of the oldest churches in Monroe County. The church is independently affiliated with the Fellowship of Independent Reformed Evangelicals (http://www.firefellowship.org). We are located about 12 miles west of Rochester, New York near Brockport, an historic college town on the Erie Canal. The congregation reflects the diverse flavor of the area, which consists of both urban and rural life styles. Our members come from at least four different counties to join with us each Sunday. The music during the worship service is also diverse–a blend of hymns and contemporary praises. The Sunday morning service centers on the expositional preaching of Scripture and up to one hour is devoted to the proclamation of God's Word.
